Polygon, previously called the Matic Network, facilitates token transfers in a scalable, fast, and cheap manner. AnRKey X uses Polygon to deploy our smart contracts, using it to enable asset swapping from layer 1 to layer 2 of Ethereum, as well as lightning fast and affordable gameplay transactions.
To connect to Polygon, visit their website at https://wallet.polygon.technology. Then, sign in using one of the following wallets:
Once you have signed in, you will be able to see a popup with the two bridges connecting Matic to Ethereum, and what they can do. Once you close this popup, you will be able to see your token balance for both your Polygon Wallet and your Ethereum Wallet.
A popup will appear asking you to add the Matic/Polygon network automatically. If you do not receive a popup, or you accidentally dismiss the popup, you can continue onto the instructions below to manually add the Matic/Polygon Network:
Click on the network selection button on the top of the MetaMask app, then select “Custom RPC”.
Then, input the following information:
Network Name Polygon
New RPC URL https://polygon-rpc.com
Chain ID 137
Currency Symbol MATIC
Block Explorer URL https://polygonscan.com/
Click “Save”, and you will now be connected to the Matic/Polygon mainnet.
To switch to Ethereum Network, you'll see a dropdown menu at the top of your wallet.
